You are a skilled engineer with experience in low-level embedded firmware development, particularly in wireless PHY-layer architecture. Your expertise includes calibration algorithms, noise and interference processing, and real-time processing flows. You have a strong understanding of interfacing with RF hardware and power management techniques, which are crucial for optimizing performance in embedded systems.

You possess a solid foundation in C and C++ programming languages, enabling you to write efficient and reliable firmware. Your familiarity with tools like Wireshark allows you to analyze and debug communication protocols effectively. What you'll do

As a Wireless Embedded Firmware Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for the design, development, and bringup of cutting-edge wireless silicon for products like the iPhone and Mac. You will engage in the entire silicon production lifecycle, from pre-silicon validation using simulation and FPGA prototyping to post-silicon bringup and performance characterization.

Your role will involve developing SoC test and calibration capabilities for chip, module, and product factories, ensuring that the firmware meets the highest standards of quality and performance. You will collaborate closely with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with RF components, addressing challenges that arise during the development process.

You will also be involved in debugging and optimizing firmware for various wireless protocols, ensuring seamless connectivity and performance in Apple products. Your contributions will directly impact the user experience, as you help create products that are used and loved by millions around the world.
