Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in embedded firmware development, particularly in real-time critical control systems. Your expertise includes designing and implementing bare metal control firmware that is highly optimized for performance and efficiency. You thrive in multifaceted, multi-functional organizations and are comfortable debating ideas openly while adapting to constantly evolving requirements.

Your experience includes working with embedded systems, particularly in the context of 5G/4G cellular technologies. You have a strong understanding of algorithms and system architectures, and you are adept at using AI/ML as a tool for improved productivity. You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of delivering high-quality firmware solutions under rigid real-time deadlines.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be at the center of the embedded cellular firmware effort within a silicon design group, responsible for crafting and productizing powerful cellular SoCs. You will design and implement algorithms that utilize minimal memory and cycles while meeting strict real-time deadlines. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the firmware meets the needs of various stakeholders and integrates seamlessly with hardware components.

You will also be responsible for verification and testing of the firmware to ensure reliability and performance. Your role will require you to stay updated with the latest advancements in embedded systems and AI/ML technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance the firmware development process. You will contribute to the overall success of the team by sharing your insights and fostering a collaborative environment.
