Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in embedded firmware development. Your expertise includes designing and implementing bare metal control firmware that is highly optimized for performance and efficiency. You thrive in a multifaceted, multi-functional organization and are comfortable with all aspects of embedded firmware development.
You are skilled in using AI and ML as tools for improved productivity and have experience working on system architectures that implement algorithms using AI/ML principles. You are not afraid to debate ideas openly and can adapt to constantly evolving requirements, making you a flexible team member.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the center of the embedded 5G/4G/multimode cellular firmware effort within a silicon design group. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement algorithms that meet rigid real-time deadlines while using minimal memory and processing cycles. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the firmware meets the high standards expected at Apple.
You will also be involved in verification and testing processes to ensure the reliability and performance of the firmware you develop. Your contributions will directly impact the performance of powerful cellular SoCs, and you will have the opportunity to innovate and push the boundaries of embedded systems technology.
