You have 5+ years of experience in reliability engineering or network management, with a proven track record of leading teams that operate large-scale, globally distributed systems. Your expertise in AWS and Linux allows you to design and implement robust network solutions that meet high availability and performance standards. You are passionate about mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of excellence in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
You possess strong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineering and operations. Your strategic mindset helps you define and drive reliability initiatives that enhance operational maturity and resilience across the organization. You thrive in environments where you can influence technical direction and contribute to the overall success of mission-critical services.
Desirable
Experience with software-defined networking and cloud connectivity is a plus. Familiarity with data-driven decision-making and release engineering practices will further enhance your ability to lead the team effectively.
What you'll do
As the Engineering Manager for Cloud Network Reliability, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to ensuring the availability and performance of Appleโs global network services. You will define and implement the reliability strategy for network platform services, ensuring that best practices are embedded throughout the system lifecycleโfrom design and development to deployment and operations. Your leadership will be crucial in building a culture that champions SRE and SWE best practices.
You will establish strong partnerships with infrastructure and operations teams to ensure that reliability and resiliency are prioritized in all projects.
