Job Description
Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. With 8 years of experience in reliability or product quality engineering, you have worked on ICs, SoCs, or microprocessors, and possess a deep understanding of silicon or semiconductor manufacturing processes. Your experience includes working with advanced manufacturing nodes and assembly techniques, such as 5nm, 3nm, 2.5D, and 3D packaging. You are familiar with production environments and have hands-on experience with Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, and RMA processes.
You hold a Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science, with a focus on computer architecture. Your expertise extends to Chiplets and High power devices, and you have experience in data analytics to identify commonalities and abnormalities in manufacturing processes. You are knowledgeable about Design-for-Reliability guidelines and implementation techniques, and you are familiar with test methods and hardware for silicon qualification, including HTOL chambers, ESD, and LU.
What you'll do
In this role, you will shape the future of AI/ML hardware acceleration by driving the development of cutting-edge TPU technology that powers Google's most demanding applications. You will partner with cross-functional organizations to design and execute quality and reliability test plans, utilizing methods such as HTOL, ELFR, ESD/LU, b/HAST, and THB. You will own the cross-functional investigation of IC quality and reliability issues, identifying root causes and developing effective solutions through RMA Triage, Analytics, and Failure Analysis.
You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure that quality and reliability standards are met throughout the product lifecycle. Your role will involve analyzing data to drive improvements in manufacturing processes and product quality, ensuring that Google's silicon solutions meet the highest standards of reliability. You will also contribute to the development of innovative testing methodologies and reliability assessment techniques that will enhance the overall quality of Google's products.
