You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in GPU design and efficiency analysis. Your experience includes working with performance metrics and power projections, allowing you to contribute effectively to the development of next-generation processors. You are proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python, which you use to create models and analyze data. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with architecture, power, and performance teams to drive projects from concept to silicon. Your analytical skills enable you to influence key factors affecting GPU performance and power efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with silicon validation and thermals is a plus, as is familiarity with methodologies for generating efficiency projections. You are detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that your work aligns with project goals and timelines. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for generating and analyzing GPU efficiency projections, focusing on performance versus power for each generation of GPU throughout the project lifecycle. You will drive the methodology for generating projections and efficiency curves, improving accuracy and quality in your analyses. Collaborating with the architecture team, you will set power targets and assess the impact of various features on efficiency. Your work will involve gathering data from performance and power teams to inform your efficiency curves and analyses. You will also participate in cross-functional discussions to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
