Job Description
Who you are
You have a minimum of a BS degree and at least 3 years of experience in GPU architectural modeling. Your expertise includes developing architectural models for validation and verification of GPU designs, and you are skilled in writing bit-accurate models for hardware/software co-validation. You possess a strong understanding of timing-accurate architectural and micro-architectural models for performance validation and correlation. You are adept at supporting GPU hardware and software teams during model and design bring-up, and you have experience in debugging and triaging regression failures to identify root causes. Your background includes improving modeling infrastructure, and you are familiar with the latest trends and technologies in GPU design.
Desirable
Experience with advanced GPU architectures and familiarity with industry-leading low power GPUs would be a plus. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment and have a passion for crafting elegant solutions to complex challenges.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be responsible for developing architectural models that are crucial for the development, validation, and verification of GPU designs. You will write bit-accurate architectural models that facilitate hardware/software co-validation, ensuring that the models you create are precise and reliable. Your work will involve writing timing-accurate architectural and micro-architectural models that are essential for performance validation and correlation. You will collaborate closely with GPU hardware and software teams, providing support during model and design bring-up phases. Additionally, you will be tasked with triaging regression failures, debugging issues to their root causes, and improving the modeling infrastructure to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
