You have a strong background in physical design verification and a keen eye for detail β€” you understand the intricacies involved in designing high-performance GPUs and are passionate about creating elegant solutions to complex challenges. Your experience includes hands-on work in physical design and large chip integration, allowing you to navigate the complete physical design verification closure from early design planning to tapeout. You thrive in collaborative environments, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams to drive the needs of Physical Design Verification and ensure project goals are met.

You possess a strategic mindset, capable of driving methodologies and best practices to streamline physical design work β€” you are adept at creating guidelines and checklists that enhance execution and track progress. Your problem-solving skills enable you to manage and resolve design and flow issues related to physical design, identifying potential solutions and driving their execution. You are committed to ensuring that Apple products and services can seamlessly handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions.

What you'll do

As a GPU Physical Verification Design Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Physical Design team to oversee the physical verification aspects throughout the design cycle. Your role will involve driving execution and tracking progress while offering physical verification support. You will manage design and flow issues, working to identify solutions that enhance the overall design process. Your contributions will be critical in ensuring that the physical design meets the high standards expected at Apple, enabling the creation of next-generation GPUs that are both power-efficient and high-performance.

You will be responsible for realizing the complete physical design verification closure, from early design planning to tapeout β€” this includes hands-on experience in physical design and large chip integration. You will work with various teams to communicate and drive the needs of Physical Design Verification, ensuring that all aspects of the back-end design align with project goals.
