Who you are
You have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant industry experience in design verification. Your expertise lies in verifying the functionality and performance of complex systems, particularly SOCs. You possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of design and architecture specifications, enabling you to effectively collaborate with design and micro-architecture teams.
You are skilled in developing comprehensive test plans and methodologies, ensuring that all functional and performance goals are met. Your experience includes running and triaging regressions, tracking bugs, and analyzing coverage to achieve top results. You thrive in collaborative environments, effectively communicating with cross-functional teams to understand use cases and corner conditions.
What you'll do
As a Senior SoC Full Chip DV Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in the chip design effort, ensuring the quality of SOCs and subsystems. You will review design and architecture specifications, working closely with design and micro-architecture teams to verify functionality and performance. Your responsibilities will include developing test plans, tests, and coverage plans, as well as defining next-generation verification methodologies and test benches.
You will communicate and collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to understand use cases and corner conditions, driving the creation of effective test cases. Additionally, you will be responsible for running and triaging regressions, tracking bugs, and analyzing coverage to achieve optimal results. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring that Apple's SOCs meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
