You are a highly motivated engineer with a strong background in GPU architecture and performance modeling. What you'll do
In this role, you will be part of the Platform Architecture GPU Modeling Team, where you will collaborate with architecture, design, and software partners to define and tune Apple's future GPU architectures. You will be responsible for implementing new and existing Metal APIs, ensuring that they meet performance and functionality requirements.
You will engage in the creation and maintenance of C++ code that models the software stack for next-generation GPUs, contributing to the development of GPU simulators for research and performance analysis. Your work will have a critical impact on the chip design effort, helping to deliver high-performance products to millions of customers.
You will participate in advanced exploration for GPU architectures in iPhone, iPad, and Mac products, leveraging your analytical skills to drive the best overall solutions for Apple's customers. Your contributions will be essential in shaping the future of Apple's GPU technology.
