Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in wireless communications, focusing on PHY layer design and integration. Your solid understanding of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts allows you to implement DSP algorithms in real-time systems effectively. You are familiar with chip-level bring-up and have experience with tools and techniques for hardware debugging. Your background includes RF parametric testing such as EVM, ACPR, and Rx sensitivity, and you are comfortable using lab equipment like network analyzers and oscilloscopes.

You possess strong programming skills in Python, which is highly desirable for this role. Your knowledge of wireless protocols such as Bluetooth, WLAN, and UWB enhances your ability to contribute to the team. You have verification skills in problem-solving, constrained random testing, and debugging, making you a valuable asset in ensuring the performance and reliability of wireless connectivity solutions.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design, integrate, and validate PHY layer components for various wireless communication protocols, including Bluetooth, Zigbee, and UWB. You will implement and optimize DSP algorithms for signal modulation, demodulation, filtering, and error correction to enhance wireless performance. Conducting FPGA and chip-level bring-up will be part of your responsibilities, where you will troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure seamless performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance and reliability of wireless connectivity solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in the integration and optimization of physical layer components, contributing to the overall success of the wireless communication systems at Apple. You will also be involved in testing and validating the performance of the systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
