Who you are
You have a Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience β your educational background has equipped you with the knowledge to review architecture and system documents effectively. You possess the ability to identify validation test cases and test plans, ensuring that all requirements are met during the development life cycle.
Your experience includes system and rack validation, where you have conducted functional, power, performance, and stress testing β you understand the importance of evaluating critical data and results to ensure system reliability. You are comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively, preparing, implementing, automating, and maintaining validation test plans and procedures.
You have a strong foundation in test automation and large-scale testing β your skills in this area allow you to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Outstanding communication and collaboration skills are part of your toolkit, enabling you to work cross-functionally with multiple teams to validate hardware and capture issues early in the development process.
Desirable
You may have additional experience with modern CPU architecture-based technologies, which would be beneficial in this role. Familiarity with large-scale deployments is a plus, as it aligns with the responsibilities of ensuring quality and performance in data center systems.
What you'll do
As a Hardware Systems Engineer at Apple, your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and execute validation plans for data center hardware designed for large-scale deployment. You will play a key role in validating, reviewing, and debugging customized platforms for Apple's future application environments.
