Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in server hardware engineering, with a strong focus on CPU architecture evaluation and performance engineering. Your deep expertise in microarchitecture concepts — including pipelines, branch prediction, and cache hierarchies — allows you to assess workload requirements effectively. You understand the intricacies of x86, ARM, and accelerator-enabled systems, and you are passionate about optimizing hardware for cloud-scale applications.

Your educational background includes a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. You possess a strong understanding of compute performance analysis and are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including SRE and platform engineering, to ensure efficient compute cloud infrastructure.

What you'll do

In this role, you will evaluate next-generation server platforms and guide strategic decisions on processor selection. You will partner closely with various teams to ensure that our Compute cloud infrastructure runs on the most efficient and cost-effective compute platforms. Your responsibilities will include assessing workload requirements and optimizing hardware configurations to meet performance goals. You will also contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the overall performance and reliability of our server hardware.
