Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field, along with 3+ years of experience in machine learning and AI. Your strong expertise in large language models and agent-based systems enables you to build core reasoning and simulation capabilities for voice-driven AI experiences. You are adept at developing robust infrastructure and tooling for training, simulation, and evaluation of agentic LLMs, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with ML scientists and product engineers.

You possess a deep understanding of how intelligent agents reason, plan, and interact with users through natural voice and multimodal experiences. Your experience includes designing and running experiments in simulated environments, building scalable evaluation pipelines, and integrating agent behaviors across client and backend systems. You are passionate about pushing the boundaries of reasoning and adaptive behavior in AI, and you are committed to developing reliable and trustworthy AI agents.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and deployment strategies is a plus, as is familiarity with tools and frameworks that support machine learning workflows. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will join a pioneering team at Apple, shaping the future of voice-first, agentic platforms. You will help define how next-generation intelligent agents interact with people, contributing to the development of scalable LLM reasoning systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing experiments to evaluate agent behaviors in realistic environments, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to transform early research into deployable systems.

You will work on advancing how LLMs plan, adapt, and evaluate actions, ensuring that the AI agents you develop are capable of reliable and trustworthy interactions. Your role will involve building the core infrastructure necessary for training and evaluating these systems, as well as integrating them into existing platforms.
