What you'll do

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, you will be responsible for building the dataset intelligence layer that supports Apple’s foundation models. This involves designing and implementing data mining strategies, information extraction techniques, and dataset curation processes that enhance model performance. You will collaborate with foundation model researchers to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted data interventions that drive faster model training and better outcomes.

You will own the end-to-end pipeline for data processing, from initial design and architecture through to deployment and long-term operation. This includes ensuring the reliability and observability of the services you build, as well as optimizing them for performance and efficiency. Your work will directly impact the intelligence of Apple products, enhancing user experiences across various services such as Apple Search, Siri, and more.
