What you'll do

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Apple, you will be part of the Visual Intelligence Technology team, where you will explore how large-scale models can understand and reason about complex visual scenes. You will design and build large-scale training pipelines, conducting experiments at scale to evaluate the performance of various models. Collaborating closely with researchers and data scientists, you will develop, fine-tune, and evaluate domain-specific LLMs for tasks in Apple's AI-powered products. Your role will also involve conducting applied research to transfer groundbreaking research in generative AI into production-ready technologies, ensuring that Apple continues to lead in innovation.
