Who you are

You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in power modeling and optimization for system-on-chip (SoC) designs. Your experience includes working with various IPs and applications, especially in AI and machine learning contexts. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively across multiple teams, including architecture, design, and validation. You are detail-oriented and passionate about crafting innovative solutions that enhance product performance and efficiency.

Desirable

Experience with silicon characterization and validation processes is a plus. Familiarity with power delivery systems and customer use-case modeling will help you excel in this role. A background in ASIC design or related fields will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for modeling power dissipation at the SoC level, focusing on components such as Neural Engines, CPUs, and various media IPs. You will interact with system designers and technology teams to define power targets and ensure that the models correlate accurately with silicon data. Your work will involve optimizing power efficiency for a variety of leading-edge chips, contributing to the development of innovative products that reach millions of customers. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and drive improvements in silicon optimization.
