Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in power modeling and ASIC design, with experience in optimizing power dissipation for complex systems. Your expertise in AI and machine learning applications allows you to contribute effectively to innovative projects. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to collaborate across various teams, including architecture, SOC design, and system design. You are detail-oriented and passionate about crafting solutions that enhance product performance.

Desirable

Experience with silicon characterization and validation processes is a plus. Familiarity with power delivery systems and customer use-case modeling will help you excel in this role. You are eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the semiconductor industry.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for modeling power dissipation at the SOC level, focusing on components such as Neural Engines, CPUs, and AI/ML accelerators. You will interact with system designers and technology teams to define power targets and ensure that the models correlate with silicon data. Your work will directly impact the optimization of leading-edge chips, contributing to the efficiency and performance of Apple products. You will also collaborate with silicon validation teams to refine models based on real-world data, ensuring that the designs meet power efficiency standards.
