Who you are

You have a strong background in power modeling and a passion for crafting innovative solutions in silicon engineering. Your experience includes working with ASICs and understanding power dissipation at the SOC level, particularly in relation to AI/ML applications. You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy collaborating across teams to bring new ideas to life. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for optimizing power efficiency in leading-edge chips.

Desirable

Experience with silicon characterization and validation processes is a plus. Familiarity with various IPs, including Neural Engines and media IPs, will help you excel in this role. A background in system design and technology teams will enhance your ability to define power targets effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for modeling power dissipation at the SOC level, focusing on various components such as CPUs, graphics, and compute accelerators. You will interact with system designers and technology teams to define power targets and ensure that the models correlate with silicon data. Your work will involve optimizing power delivery for customer use cases, contributing to the overall efficiency of Apple products. You will collaborate closely with silicon validation and product engineering teams to ensure that your models are accurate and effective.
