You possess experience with physical-layer architecture and have successfully ported concepts to firmware-ready designs. Your proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, and Python allows you to develop concepts, model systems, and conduct link-level simulations effectively.

What you'll do
As a Cellular PHY Systems Engineer at Apple, you will be a key member of the cellular system engineering team, focusing on the development of physical-layer beam management features in higher-frequency bands. Your responsibilities will include scoping and developing these features, as well as conducting pre- and post-silicon bring-up and end-to-end validation. You will define requirements and concepts, mapping them to hardware and firmware architecture, and validating control flows and algorithms through simulations and emulations.
You will collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure that the physical-layer features meet the high standards expected at Apple. Your role will involve continuous learning and adaptation as you work on cutting-edge technologies in the 5G and 6G domains. You will also be responsible for documenting your work and sharing insights with your team to foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
