You have a strong background in process technology and experience working with silicon vendors — your attention to detail ensures that you can manage complex technical interfaces effectively. Your hands-on experience allows you to engage directly with suppliers and foundries worldwide, making you a key player in the technology development process.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams. Your ability to analyze and mitigate technology risks across multiple projects is crucial in maintaining high production standards. You are detail-oriented and understand the importance of every aspect of the process, ensuring that the technology you help develop meets Apple's high standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the technical process interface with silicon vendors, ensuring that all requirements are met and issues are resolved promptly. You will work closely with suppliers to address silicon process issues and coordinate process transfers with Integrated Device Manufacturers (IDMs) and external foundries. Your responsibilities will include participating in technology development, device engineering, and ongoing sustaining engineering activities within the Hardware Technology team.

You will drive thorough investigations into root causes of process and yield issues, analyzing their impact on high-volume product production, performance, and reliability. Your role will require you to engage various parties in decision-making processes, ensuring timely resolutions to challenges that arise. You will also be responsible for managing and mitigating technology risks for multiple projects simultaneously, making your organizational skills essential for success.
