Who you are

You are a seasoned leader with a robust engineering background, ready to make significant contributions in the realm of custom silicon management. Your ability to influence and connect with various stakeholders is key to driving results and ensuring effective communication across teams. You thrive in environments where you can deliver on a predictable and dynamic schedule, showcasing your expertise in physical design principles.

With a strong technical understanding, you are prepared to audit vendor physical design flows and methodologies, identifying any gaps and setting up issues to ensure optimal quality of results (QoR) for Apple chips. Your experience allows you to suggest improvements to methodologies, promoting efficiency and innovation within the silicon community.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers, focusing on the design and development of innovative chips for products like iPhone, iPad, and AppleTV. You will work closely with internal teams, including systems and program management, to ensure that vendor implementation teams meet design goals effectively. Your collaboration with specialists from various teams, such as packaging and process, will be crucial in resolving project issues related to IP elements.

You will have the opportunity to integrate new insights into the design process, ensuring that the chips meet Apple's high standards of quality. Your leadership will guide the Custom Silicon team in navigating complex challenges and driving projects to successful completion. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the team, ensuring that Apple continues to lead in the custom silicon space.
