Who you are
You are a leader with a strong engineering background who is ready to make significant contributions in the field of custom silicon management. You possess excellent communication skills and can effectively influence and connect with various stakeholders to achieve results. Your ability to deliver on a predictable and dynamic schedule is crucial in this role. You have a deep understanding of physical design principles and are committed to ensuring the highest quality in chip designs.
You have experience auditing vendor physical design flows and methodologies, identifying gaps, and suggesting improvements to optimize methodologies for the best quality of results (QoR) for Apple chips. You are adept at collaborating with internal teams, such as systems and program management, to ensure that vendor implementation teams meet design goals. Your technical expertise allows you to work closely with specialists from other teams to resolve any issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon suppliers, focusing on the design and development of innovative chips for various mobile products. You will have the opportunity to integrate new insights and promote efficiency within the silicon community. Your responsibilities will include auditing vendor physical design flows, suggesting improvements, and ensuring that the implementation team meets design goals. You will collaborate with various teams to resolve project issues and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality chips.
