You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and significant industry experience in silicon validation. Your technical expertise includes a deep understanding of validation processes, and you are adept at collaborating with chip, module, and system teams to meet functional and performance goals. You thrive in environments that require multi-functional collaboration and are committed to delivering high-quality silicon for Apple's innovative products.
What you'll do
As the Silicon Validation Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the validation and quality assurance of custom silicon. You will work closely with internal and external teams to review specifications and enhance existing validation test plans and methodologies. Your role will involve providing technical guidance on validation implementation and execution, both pre and post-silicon, including FPGA and silicon validation. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that the validation efforts align with the functional and performance goals of the designs.
Your responsibilities will also include driving improvements in validation processes and ensuring comprehensive test coverage on the first revision of silicon. You will be expected to influence and achieve the best outcomes for all stakeholders involved, leveraging your strong communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration. Your leadership will play a crucial role in guiding the chip validation efforts for the next generation of Apple products, including the iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Macs.
