Who you are

You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanism and mechatronic product design — you've successfully integrated electronics, sensors, and mechanisms in challenging packaging environments. Your strong mechanical engineering analytical skills enable you to select materials and manufacturing processes based on engineering requirements. You possess proficiency in 3D CAD and creating 2D drawings, allowing you to effectively communicate your designs. Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, help you present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

Desirable

Experience working in technical project groups in a professional environment is a plus, as is a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field. You are passionate about exploring innovative concepts and pushing the performance boundaries of integrated electro-mechanical systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the mechanical design of mechanisms and mechatronic systems from concept generation through physical implementation and validation. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including electrical, controls, and embedded firmware engineers, to realize mechatronic system designs. Your responsibilities will include creating 3D and 2D drawings, integrating electrical components such as sensors and wiring, and prototyping, evaluating, developing, and hardening designs. You will play a key role in driving innovation and ensuring that designs meet performance and packaging requirements.
