You have over 7 years of relevant experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain, and hold a BS/BA in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Your strong knowledge of hardware components, materials, and manufacturing cost structures allows you to investigate novel product and supply chain implementations effectively. You possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to engage with cross-functional teams seamlessly. You are a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and robust organizational skills, capable of resolving ambiguity through a creative yet data-centric approach. Your natural curiosity about how things work drives you to explore existing and emerging technologies in the consumer electronics market.
Desirable
You have a keen interest in design optimization and are comfortable working with engineering and cost analysis to influence product feature roadmaps. Your ability to identify design, manufacturing, and sourcing opportunities is a key asset in this role.
What you'll do
As an Operations Product Development Design Intelligence Analyst at Apple, you will engage with the Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, and OPD Product Manager teams to shape product design and sourcing strategies that enable best-in-class hardware products. You will identify existing and emerging technologies in the consumer electronics market, utilizing your knowledge of hardware components and manufacturing design to investigate novel product and supply chain implementations. Your insights will help influence product feature roadmaps by providing relevant engineering and cost analysis, identifying design, manufacturing, and sourcing opportunities. You will collaborate closely with various teams to ensure that product designs align with sourcing strategies and manufacturing capabilities, ultimately contributing to the development of innovative hardware products.
