You have over 5 years of experience leading QA and Quality Engineering teams in software, demonstrating a strong background in software development and quality assurance. Your deep knowledge of QA automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools allows you to effectively manage and enhance quality processes within your team. You value teamwork and cross-functional alignment, and you are comfortable influencing without authority, ensuring that all stakeholders are on the same page. Your exceptional written and verbal communication skills enable you to convey complex concepts concisely and tailor your messages to different audiences. You have experience leading distributed teams across various cultures, geographies, and time zones, which has equipped you with the ability to drive clarity amid ambiguity and make sound tradeoffs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Core Services Quality Engineering organization at Apple, where you will oversee the quality assurance processes for a range of services including the App Store, Apple TV, and Apple Music. You will plan and lead end-to-end software release cycles, ensuring that all products meet Apple's high standards of quality. Your leadership will be crucial in developing people, processes, and teams, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. You will also be involved in major cross-functional software initiatives, working closely with engineering and product teams to drive quality improvements and implement automation solutions. Your ability to quickly grasp new technical domains and system architectures will be essential as you navigate the complexities of Apple's diverse service offerings.
