Rfic Layout Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience, particularly in FinFet technology. Your background includes custom RF/analog layout for radio transceivers, and you possess extensive knowledge of deep sub-micron CMOS processes. You are knowledgeable in layout techniques for device matching, minimizing parasitics, RF shielding, and high-frequency routing. You have a solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, and coupling, as well as advanced process effects such as LOD and WPE. Your high-level proficiency in interpreting CALIBRE DRC, ERC, and LVS in FinFet technology sets you apart. You also have scripting skills in Perl or SKILL, which enhance your layout capabilities.

What you'll do

As an RFIC Layout Engineer, you will be a key member of the RFIC team, responsible for the detailed transistor-level layout of RF and analog circuit blocks, including LNA, mixers, PLL, LO generation, modulators, power amplifiers, ADC/DAC, baseband filters, and bandgap/bias/LDO. You will engage in block-level layout through the full verification flow, including extraction, DRC, LVS, and signal coupling. Your role will involve researching and designing the next generation of wireless technologies, ensuring they are ready for high-volume production in advanced CMOS technology nodes. You will collaborate closely with other engineers to bring innovative solutions to market, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art energy-efficient CMOS radios.
