Job Description
Who you are
You have over 10 years of experience in systems engineering, particularly in wireless communication systems, and a strong understanding of the 5G-NR standard, specifically RRC and PHY. Your in-depth knowledge of mobility control features allows you to tackle complex challenges in the field. You are proficient in MATLAB, C++, JavaScript, and Python, using these tools for system-level simulation, workflow automation, and data analysis. Your strong theoretical, analytical, and problem-solving skills enable you to make informed design trade-offs considering power, performance, and complexity.
You are familiar with NR reference signal design, cell search/measurement, and mobility behavior, which enhances your ability to scope different mobility control procedures. Your experience with key RRC signaling flows between UE and network positions you as a valuable asset to the team. Additionally, you have exposure to generative AI tools that improve work efficiency and possess data analysis and machine learning skills.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be a key member of the Systems Engineering team, focusing on mobility control features for cutting-edge 5G and 6G wireless communication systems. You will scope different mobility control procedures, identify and debug methodologies, and collaborate with a team of innovators to transform hardware technology. Your responsibilities will include analyzing system performance, optimizing designs, and ensuring the successful implementation of mobility control features. You will also engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive the development of groundbreaking Apple products.
