Silicon Validation Engineer • Mid-Level

Who you are

You have hands-on experience with high-speed SerDes architectures, including NRZ and PAM, and possess in-depth knowledge of crucial SerDes blocks such as CTLE, DFE, FFE, CDR, and PLLs. Your strong debugging and problem-solving skills enable you to tackle complex challenges in silicon validation. You are proficient in using test and measurement equipment like high-speed oscilloscopes and BERTs, and you understand SerDes adaptation techniques and signal integrity analysis. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with multi-functional teams to launch innovative products.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead efforts to bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed SerDes blocks, ensuring they meet performance standards. You will develop robust test methodologies to evaluate performance and calculate high-speed serial data integrity. Your responsibilities will include analyzing SerDes signal integrity and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any issues that arise during the validation process. You will also contribute to the development of upcoming products that will delight millions of Apple customers.
