Who you are
You have over 7 years of software development or production operations experience in a large-scale environment β you've navigated complex systems and understand the intricacies of managing identities for applications and services. Your expertise in Golang is profound, as you have spent more than 5 years writing production code in Go, developing applications that are both efficient and secure.
You possess a strong understanding of security practices and have a track record of implementing effective authentication and authorization protocols. Your experience in large-scale operations has equipped you with the skills to address identity challenges effectively, ensuring that security measures are not just theoretical but practical and impactful.
You are a technical lead who thrives in collaborative environments, guiding engineering teams to adopt secure practices and tools. Your ability to define and advocate for standardized security requirements demonstrates your commitment to excellence in security protocols. You are passionate about staying updated with the latest security trends and practices, ensuring that your work aligns with industry standards.
Desirable
Experience with cloud resources and managing access securely is a plus, as is familiarity with containerization technologies. Your ability to influence and drive change within teams will be crucial in this role, as you will be expected to monitor progress and ensure adherence to security protocols.
What you'll do
In this role, you will play a critical part in the Workload Identity team, focusing on creating fundamental security services that address identity challenges on a large scale. You will define, advocate, and drive the adoption of a standardized set of minimum security requirements, ensuring that engineering teams incorporate secure practices into their development processes.
You will have direct influence on the future of security protocols within the Apple Services Engineering Security organization. Your responsibilities will include monitoring progress towards security goals and collaborating with various teams to ensure that security measures are effectively implemented.
You will also be involved in defining security requirements that align with the latest industry standards, guiding teams through the complexities of secure application development.
