Who you are
You have experience in automation and software systems design, which allows you to create elegant solutions to complex challenges. Your proficiency in interpreted or scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL enables you to develop innovative software that enhances internal processes. You are familiar with version control systems like Git and Perforce, ensuring efficient collaboration and code management.
You thrive in high-performance compute (HPC) Linux environments, where your attention to detail and commitment to quality drive the success of your projects. Your ability to collaborate with multiple design teams allows you to identify and implement automations that improve the efficiency and quality of CAD flows. You understand the importance of every detail in the development of next-generation processors and system-on-chip (SoC) technologies.
What you'll do
As a member of Apple's Silicon Technologies group, you will be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Appleβs devices. You will collaborate with various design teams to develop methodologies and flows that enhance the silicon development process. Your role will involve creating new software and technologies that empower other Apple engineers to deliver exceptional products for millions of customers worldwide.
You will work closely with the hardware CAD team to drive the quality of the chip and increase the efficiency of CAD flows. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and power efficiency of Apple products, ensuring they meet the high standards expected by users. You will also be involved in automating internal software evaluation, management, and deployment processes, which are crucial for maintaining the quality of Apple silicon.
