Who you are
You have experience in automation and software systems design, which allows you to create elegant solutions to complex challenges. Your proficiency in interpreted or scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or TCL enables you to develop innovative methodologies for silicon development. You are familiar with version control systems like Git and Perforce, ensuring efficient collaboration and code management.
Your background in operating within a high-performance compute (HPC) Linux environment equips you with the skills to tackle demanding technical challenges. You understand the importance of detail in every aspect of your work, which is crucial for developing best-in-class methodologies and flows for Apple silicon development.
What you'll do
As a System Infrastructure Developer at Apple, you will collaborate with multiple design teams to identify and implement automations in internal software evaluation, management, and deployment. Your role will involve crafting and building technology that fuels Appleβs devices, ensuring they can efficiently handle tasks that delight millions of customers. You will be responsible for driving the quality of the chip and increasing the efficiency and quality of results (QoR) of our CAD flows.
You will work closely with the hardware CAD team, developing new software and technologies that empower other Apple engineers in their product creation efforts. Your contributions will play a vital role in the design and manufacture of next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processors.
