Overview

Apple is hiring a WSoC RF Test Automation Engineer to develop automation frameworks for wireless SoC RF integration and validation. You'll work with embedded systems and automation tools in California.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant industry experience, particularly in wireless silicon development. Your background includes a deep understanding of test software development fundamentals and code management, which allows you to effectively contribute to automation frameworks. You possess hands-on experience with wireless SoC RF firmware/software regression framework development and maintenance, showcasing your ability to work in both hardware and software domains.

Your familiarity with wireless transceiver architecture, RF systems, and DSP knowledge sets you apart. You are skilled in developing test automation, including equipment drivers, debug tools, and automation script interfaces. Additionally, you have experience with data storage, databases, and data visualization tools, which enhances your ability to analyze and present data effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on delivering automation frameworks used by the Wireless SoC RF integration and validation team. You will architect and implement the automation framework for WSoC RF characterization and regression, ensuring high-quality testing processes. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.

You will also be involved in maintaining and enhancing existing automation infrastructure, ensuring that it meets the evolving needs of the team. Your role will require you to debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing, providing insights and solutions to improve the overall testing process. You will have the opportunity to keep developing your technical skillsets in both hardware and software domains, contributing to the successful delivery of Apple products until productization.
