Overview

Apple is hiring a WSoC RF Test Automation Engineer to develop automation frameworks for wireless SoC RF integration and validation. You'll work with embedded systems and automation tools in California.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in wireless silicon development. Your background includes a deep understanding of test software development fundamentals and code management, which allows you to effectively contribute to the automation frameworks used in wireless SoC RF integration and validation.

Hands-on experience with wireless SoC RF firmware and software regression framework development is essential. You are familiar with developing test automation, including equipment drivers, debug tools, and automation script interfaces. Your knowledge extends to data storage, databases, and data visualization tools, enabling you to handle complex data sets effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will focus on architecting and implementing automation frameworks for WSoC RF characterization and regression. You will collaborate closely with the wireless SoC RF integration and validation team to ensure that the automation processes are efficient and effective. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining test automation systems, which will involve creating interfaces for automation scripts and ensuring that all components work seamlessly together.

You will also be involved in debugging and troubleshooting issues that arise during the testing process, utilizing your strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement solutions. As you work on these projects, you will have the opportunity to further develop your technical skillsets in both hardware and software domains, contributing to the delivery of Apple products until productization.
