Who you are

You have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, with a strong background in web manual and automation testing. Your expertise in designing and executing robust test processes and strategies is complemented by your ability to create detailed test plans for retail software and hardware initiatives. You understand the importance of integrating comprehensive test plans into overall project schedules to ensure high-quality product releases that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.

You are a strategic thinker who can define and enhance a roadmap for test automation, ensuring that all testing efforts align with the broader goals of the organization. Your experience in leading cross-functional teams allows you to effectively coordinate testing efforts across diverse systems, ensuring that all components work seamlessly together. You are detail-oriented and committed to continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance testing processes and outcomes.

What you'll do

In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of the planning, coordination, execution, and continuous improvement of processes for end-to-end integration testing. You will define the comprehensive test strategy and orchestrate its implementation across various systems for Stores Applications, including Point-of-Sale, inventory management, payment systems, and customer-facing applications. Your efforts will directly impact the reliability and success of in-store technology, contributing significantly to customer and employee satisfaction.

You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure that all retail solutions meet the highest quality standards. This includes conducting thorough testing of software and hardware initiatives, identifying potential issues, and collaborating with teams to resolve them effectively. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to foster a culture of quality and excellence within the team.
