Who you are
You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in wireless firmware testing. Your strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) sets you apart in this field. You possess programming skills in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting, which you leverage to develop effective test cases and automation scripts.
Your proven experience as a Silicon firmware test engineer showcases your ability to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of wireless silicon products. You have a solid understanding of firmware code structure, allowing you to craft test methodologies that support thorough testing processes. Your background in wireless/PHY/radio fundamentals enhances your capability to analyze and debug complex issues effectively.

Your responsibilities will include creating white box firmware test cases and working closely with developers to ensure the correctness of firmware functions. You will also be involved in the development of manual and automated test setups and scripts, publishing test reports, and collecting test logs to identify and debug failures.
You will help build pre-silicon and post-silicon reference board test setups, as well as production-specific test setups. Your innovative ideas will contribute to addressing automation and execution challenges within the testing process. Additionally, you will support development teams in debugging and reproducing issues, collaborating with system QA on bug reproduction, and running debug tests with debug firmware builds.
