You are an expert in communication systems engineering with a deep understanding of wireless technology used in innovative indoor and outdoor wireless networks. With a strong background in system design, you thrive on solving challenges that have yet to be addressed in the industry. You are self-motivated and passionate about crafting next-generation wireless technology that will significantly impact future Apple products and inspire millions of customers.
You have experience in defining system-level concepts and proposing innovative ideas and algorithms. Your skills in performing sophisticated system simulations and defining rapid prototyping platforms will help you prove your ideas effectively. You are familiar with specifying RAN protocols for next-generation (6G) cellular systems and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking radio access networks.
What you'll do
In this role, you will be at the center of a pioneering research group responsible for crafting next-generation wireless technologies over the next decade. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver system designs that push the boundaries of current wireless capabilities. Your responsibilities will include researching and developing wireless technology for next-generation radio access networks across different layers, including PHY, MAC, CP, and DP.
You will engage in defining innovative algorithms and conducting system simulations to validate your concepts. Your work will involve rapid prototyping to demonstrate the feasibility of your ideas, and you will play a crucial role in specifying RAN protocols that will shape the future of cellular systems.
