Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and hands-on experience with chip bringup, tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chains for optimal performance. Your familiarity with calibration algorithms sets you apart, and you possess a basic understanding of communication theory, DSP, OFDM systems, and radio architectures. You are well-versed in the impact of radio impairments on performance, which allows you to troubleshoot effectively.

Your technical skills include proficiency in Python, MATLAB, and C/C++, enabling you to implement complex algorithms and contribute to innovative solutions. You have a good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms, such as timing recovery, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control, and RF impairment estimation and correction. Knowledge of wireless communication protocols like IEEE 802.11 standards or LTE is a plus, showcasing your comprehensive expertise in the field.

What you'll do

As a Wireless Systems Integration Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a silicon design group responsible for system integration and the design of radio calibration algorithms. You will engage in chip bringup and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products from conception to production. Your role will involve crafting innovative solutions that enhance product performance and user experience.
