Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in wireless systems integration. Your hands-on experience with chip bringup and tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chains for optimal performance sets you apart. You possess a basic understanding of communication theory, DSP, OFDM systems, and radio architectures, along with the impact of radio impairments on performance. Your familiarity with calibration algorithms is essential for this role.

You are proficient in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and C/C++, which you have used to implement complex algorithms. Your good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms, including timing recovery and automatic gain control, makes you a valuable asset to the team. You are also knowledgeable about wireless communication protocols like IEEE 802.11 standards, which enhances your ability to contribute effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of a silicon design group responsible for system integration and the design of radio calibration algorithms. You will engage in chip bringup and characterization of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products from conception to production. Your work will involve crafting innovative solutions to complex challenges, ensuring that the products meet the high standards expected by Apple customers.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to debug issues and optimize system performance. Your expertise in calibration algorithms will be crucial as you work on tuning the wireless systems to achieve optimal performance. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new technologies that will shape the future of wireless communication at Apple.
