Who you are
You have a bachelor's degree and hands-on experience with chip bringup and tuning wireless transmitter or receiver chains for optimal performance. Your familiarity with calibration algorithms and a basic understanding of communication theory, DSP, and OFDM systems set you apart. You are well-versed in radio architectures and understand the impact of radio impairments on performance. Your experience with Python, MATLAB, and C/C++ implementation allows you to tackle complex engineering challenges effectively.
You possess a good understanding of communication theory and signal processing algorithms, including timing recovery, signal estimation and detection, automatic gain control, and RF impairment estimation and correction. Your knowledge of wireless communication protocols, such as IEEE 802.11 standards or LTE, enhances your ability to contribute to innovative projects at Apple. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to work on challenges that push the boundaries of technology.
What you'll do
As a Wireless Systems Integration Engineer at Apple, you will be part of a silicon design group responsible for the system integration of state-of-the-art wireless SoC products from conception to production. You will design radio calibration algorithms that enhance the performance of wireless systems, ensuring they meet Apple's high standards.
