Job Description

Who you are

You have at least 3+ years of experience as a controller in a global high-tech company — your background includes working at one of the big 4 accounting firms, specifically in the high-tech department. You possess strong knowledge and experience in US-GAAP, and you are proficient in using NetSuite ERP. Your Excel skills are exceptional, allowing you to analyze and prepare financial data with ease.

You are proactive and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. You understand the importance of accuracy and precision in financial reporting, and you are highly organized in managing operational data. Your expertise in tax accounting and compliance ensures that you can navigate complex financial regulations effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the monthly and quarterly-end closing processes, delivering comprehensive end-to-end reporting packages. You will prepare annual tax returns and statutory reports, working directly with external audit teams to ensure all financial information is properly supported. Your responsibilities will also include reviewing and implementing work procedures within the finance department to enhance efficiency.

You will prepare and analyze financial data and internal reports, monitoring progress and changes to ensure accuracy. Managing vendor payment cycles will be part of your duties, along with undertaking ad-hoc financial tasks as needed. Your role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of financial data and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.
