Who you are
You have a strong background in accessibility, with experience in developing and executing accessibility strategies across digital platforms. You understand the importance of WCAG requirements and can communicate these effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers is key, as you will serve as the primary accessibility contact for major clients. You are comfortable handling executive-level conversations and can navigate complex compliance questions with ease. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with design, engineering, and product management teams to integrate accessibility into the development process. You are proactive in identifying accessibility challenges and are committed to finding effective solutions that enhance user experiences for all.
What you'll do
In this role, you will define and lead the accessibility roadmap for Appspace, ensuring that accessibility is prioritized throughout the product development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate accessibility best practices into design and engineering processes. Your responsibilities will include engaging with customers to understand their accessibility needs and providing guidance on compliance-related inquiries. You will also participate in RFP responses and roadmap presentations, showcasing how Appspace addresses accessibility challenges.
