You understand the importance of data validation and back-testing, ensuring that the data used in investment processes is accurate and reliable.

You are comfortable working with both structured and unstructured data, and you have a strong grasp of big data technologies. Your analytical mindset helps you identify and solve complex problems, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can work closely with researchers and other stakeholders.

What you'll do

In this role, you will participate in the design and implementation of a new enterprise data platform that will be utilized by quantitative researchers across AQR. You will be responsible for managing the infrastructure that loads, validates, and provisions large datasets, ensuring that they are readily available for analysis. Your work will directly impact the firm's ability to make informed investment decisions based on rigorous data analysis.

You will also build critical tools that facilitate data validation and back-testing, contributing to the overall efficiency of the research process. As part of the Data Engineering team, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure that the data infrastructure meets the needs of the organization and supports its strategic goals.
