You are excited about the intersection of backend engineering and AI — you have experience working with AI workflows and understand how to translate abstract concepts into practical, deployable solutions. Your problem-solving skills are top-notch, and you thrive in collaborative environments where you can share knowledge and mentor others.

You have a strong understanding of system architecture and data flows — you've worked on projects that required you to design task runners, state managers, and observability tools. Your ability to communicate complex ideas clearly makes you a valuable team member.

Desirable

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and build the backbone of our agentic ERP systems, focusing on APIs, task runners, and data flows. You will collaborate closely with Applied AI Researchers to turn reasoning patterns into infrastructure that is fast, robust, and scalable. Your work will involve architecting interfaces between LLM agents and structured systems like databases and CRMs.

You will define and evolve foundational abstractions that support AI workflows, retries, context, and memory. As the platform scales from early customer deployments to a durable enterprise product, your contributions will be crucial in ensuring that our systems are efficient and effective.

You will work with Forward Deployed Engineers to ship modules into production within chaotic, real-world ERP environments. Your ability to adapt and thrive in such settings will be key to your success in this role. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and help shape the future of our engineering practices.
