What you'll do

As a Backend Engineer on the Platform team at Astranis, you will be responsible for designing and building the core components that power our satellite control systems. Your work will involve creating services that autonomously manage satellite operations, ensuring they remain safe and online. You will monitor telemetry data for anomalies and develop solutions to enhance situational awareness for our fleet.

You will collaborate closely with other engineering teams to enable faster and more reliable software development across the organization. This includes participating in code reviews, contributing to architectural discussions, and implementing best practices in software engineering. Your role will also involve troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in production, ensuring that our systems operate smoothly and efficiently.
