What you'll do

As the Senior Electronics (PCB/PCBA) Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for supply chain escalations, providing expert guidance and support to ensure that all electronic components meet Astranis's rigorous quality standards. You will lead the onboarding and qualification of new suppliers, traveling as necessary to assess their capabilities and compliance with aerospace industry standards. Your role will involve authoring and maintaining supplier qualification, workmanship, and inspection standards, customizing them to exceed industry expectations. You will collaborate closely with the electrical engineering team during the development phases of new technologies, ensuring that all products are designed with quality and reliability in mind. You will conduct regular audits and assessments of supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed. Your insights will be critical in shaping the quality assurance processes at Astranis, contributing to the successful launch of advanced satellite technologies.
