Experience with thermal, vacuum, and vibration testing is a plus, as is familiarity with satellite systems or aerospace applications. You are detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, allowing you to troubleshoot and optimize testing processes effectively.

What you'll do

As a Mechatronics/Mechanisms Test Engineer at Astranis, you will be responsible for developing and designing tests for all custom mechanisms on our spacecraft. This includes creating test plans, designing test setups, and executing tests to validate the performance of mechanisms under various conditions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all mechanisms meet stringent performance and reliability standards. Your role will involve writing software in Python to automate testing processes and analyze results, contributing to the overall success of our satellite missions.
