What you'll do

As a Senior Product Security Engineer at Astranis, you will play a critical role in the development of secure satellite communication systems. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement security measures that protect sensitive data and ensure the integrity of our systems. You will lead efforts to audit embedded devices, identifying security vulnerabilities and weaknesses that could impact our operations. Your work will involve collaborating with engineering teams to integrate security into the software development process, ensuring that security considerations are addressed from the outset.

You will conduct risk analyses to evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks. Your expertise will be essential in leading security reviews, where you will assess the security posture of our systems and propose improvements. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security documentation, ensuring that all security protocols are well-documented and communicated across the organization.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise in security practices.
