Who you are
You have 5+ years of experience in security engineering, particularly in safeguarding cloud-based applications and products. Your expertise includes threat modeling, security assessments, and integrating security best practices into the software development lifecycle. You are proficient in tools like Kubernetes and Docker, and you understand the nuances of securing AI/ML environments.
You possess strong analytical skills and can conduct in-depth vulnerability analysis and penetration testing. Your collaborative nature allows you to work closely with product and engineering teams to enhance security posture and ensure the integrity of cutting-edge solutions. You are familiar with OWASP guidelines and have experience developing secure coding standards.
What you'll do
In this role, you will lead the development and enforcement of security best practices throughout the product lifecycle. You will conduct threat modeling and security architecture reviews, ensuring that security is integrated from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include performing penetration testing and vulnerability assessments of product features and systems, as well as developing security automation tools to monitor and test code for vulnerabilities.
You will define and maintain secure coding standards and procedures, particularly for cloud and Kubernetes-based environments. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will proactively identify security risks and implement measures to mitigate them.
